Come join the fun

Niverville's Winterfest happens on the third Saturday in November. Three groups participate to provide activities to kick off the lead up to Christmas: The Niverville Chamber of Commerce, Niverville Elementary School and The Town of Niverville.

The Niverville Chamber of Commerce annually hosts two events as part of Winterfest in mid-November: the Craft Sale and Market and the Community Tree Lighting.

The Winterfest Craft Sale and Market is held in the beautiful Niverville Heritage Centre, all dressed up to celebrate the coming of Christmas and the holiday season. It is the best place in the south-east to find gifts for all those favorite someones. You'll find a wide range of gift ideas made by artisans and crafters, as well as a number of direct-marketed products.

The Winterfest Tree Lighting takes place at 5:30 in the parking lot of the Niverville Credit Union with hot chocolate for everyone and candy canes for the kids. After the lighting of the 15 foot tree, there is carol singing and rides on a horse drawn wagon (sleigh if there is enough snow.)

The Parents Advisory Council of the Niverville Elementary School hosts the Holiday Shoppes for kids.

The recreation department of The Town of Niverville sponsors Skating with Santa.
